Matt LaForge is an experienced editor and writer with nearly two decades of expertise in substantive editing, proofreading, and copy-editing across various media platforms. They have held roles as a newsroom manager, where they hired, supervised, and trained large teams of journalists and freelance writers. Most recently, LaForge served as a Senior Writer & PR Specialist at York University and has a background that includes editing for Canada's National Observer and managing editor positions at several media organizations. They hold a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University.
