Erik Theuer

Erik Theuer is the current Head of Product for LATAM at Wise. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Product Management at Nubank from January 2021 to June 2022, where they led product management for SMBs, including payments, accounts, credit products, merchant solutions, and customer acquisition. Erik was able to triple the SME customer base in just 12 months and significantly improve both revenues and NPS. Erik also shipped the SMB Credit Card and NuTap, which allows merchants to receive card payments with just their mobile phones.

Before their time at Nubank, Erik served as the Group Product Manager at Uber from September 2019 to January 2021. Erik then served as the Head of Product - Financial Services for Cabify from October 2018 to August 2019 and as the Group Product Manager - Easy Taxi for Easy from June 2015 to November 2018.

Erik Theuer graduated from Colégio Humboldt before getting their MBA from Insper. Erik also has a degree in Co-Active Coaching from The Coaches Training Institute in New York, USA. In addition, they have an Extension in Managing Products and Services Development from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and was a Visiting Student in Product and Process Innovation Management at Universidade de São Paulo.
