Fiona Vallance

Fiona Vallance is an experienced Principal User Researcher at Wise since April 2020, previously serving as Lead User Researcher. Vallance has academic experience as an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Arts London from January 2020 to November 2023, focusing on user research theory and methodologies. Prior roles include Insights and Strategy Consultant at The Collective, Global User Research Lead at Idean UK, and Co-Founder of Amble, an IOS app prioritizing women's safety in urban environments. Vallance has also held positions at Zinc VC, Ipsos MORI, Social Market Foundation, and King's College London, demonstrating expertise in project management, research methodologies, and stakeholder engagement. Academically, Vallance holds an MA in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Glasgow and a Master's degree in Cultural Studies from the University of Sydney.
