Iona Carter

Iona Carter is a seasoned marketing professional currently serving as VP of Brand & Marketing Strategy at Wise since August 2023. Previously, Iona held the position of Director of Brand & Creative at Olio, where responsibilities included leading a team in brand strategy following a significant fundraising round, and enhancing brand marketing effectiveness. Prior experience also includes roles as Chief Customer Officer and Head of Brand at Plum Guide, where Iona focused on digital product design, customer experience, and brand marketing. Iona's career began with a managerial role at The Carter Company, leading a successful rebranding and revenue growth initiative, followed by founding Twig Teas and strategic planning at Sony Music Entertainment. Iona holds a BA in French & Italian Literature from the University of Cambridge and has been engaged in ongoing professional development through iDiscover 360 since August 2021.
