Liis Kohal

Liis Kohal is the Head of Accounting at Wise, where they direct both the General and Technical Accounting teams, providing leadership and strategic guidance for accurate and compliant financial operations. Previously, Liis served as a Project Manager at Playtech and a Manager at PwC Finland, specializing in IFRS questions and implementation projects. An experienced educator, Liis was a guest lecturer on International Accounting Standards at TalTech from 2012 to 2022. They hold a Doctorate in Business Administration (Accounting) and two Master's degrees from TalTech, one in Accounting and Finance and another in Information Systems Analysis and Design.
