Matthew Aspell has extensive experience in compliance and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Transaction Monitoring and KYC at Wise since July 2019. Throughout Matthew's career at Wise, various roles have included Group Product Compliance Lead, Senior Product Compliance Manager, Product Compliance Manager, and Verification Compliance Manager. Prior experience includes positions at Hampden Agencies Limited as Compliance Officer and Assistant Compliance Officer from March 2016 to June 2019, and as Risk and Compliance Associate at Towry from September 2013 to December 2015. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Oxford Brookes University, earned between 2010 and 2013.
