Michael Marshall is a Risk Senior Manager at Wise since September 2025, bringing extensive experience from previous roles at Close Brothers as Risk Reporting and Analytics Manager and focusing on Commercial Businesses, as well as on Risk Appetite within the Enterprise Wide Risk team. Prior tenure at the Bank of England included serving as a Policy Analyst, supporting policy decision-making and engaging with external stakeholders in the payments landscape, and as a Risk Analyst within the PRA's Structured Finance team. Michael began his career with a summer research placement at Heriot-Watt University, where involvement in research contributed to a master's project. Michael holds an MPhys degree in Physics with Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, obtained in July 2014.
