Mike Marter is an experienced design professional with a background in UX/UI design and graphic design. Currently serving as the Group Design Lead for Design Systems at Wise since September 2022, Mike previously held the position of Staff Designer at Wise from July 2015 to March 2021, where key contributions included the development of the "Money Tracker" project, which significantly improved user experience by reducing customer anxiety. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior UX/UI Designer at Truphone and POW!, as well as Graphic Designer at Help for Heroes. Mike holds a BA (Hons) in Illustration from the University for the Creative Arts, where studies took place from 2006 to 2009.
