Rui Baltazar

Rui Baltazar is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership roles. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at Wise since January 2023, Rui previously held positions at Zeus Living as a Staff Software Engineer and at Perx Technologies, where tenure included roles as Director of Engineering, Principal Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. As CTO and Co-Founder of FirstTouch, Rui developed a Sports Tech platform facilitating connections for football agents, scouts, and players. Other notable experiences include lead software engineering roles at OpsManager and software engineering positions at INTELLLEX, Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology Centre, and Ubiwhere. Rui holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra.
