Sergei Ledvanov

Sergei Ledvanov is a seasoned Senior Fullstack Engineer at Wise Ltd. since January 2016, specializing in scalable applications that combat fraud and chargebacks through advanced technologies, including machine learning and big data. With a strong foundation in Java, Kafka, and microservices, Sergei also has experience as a Fullstack Engineer and Team Lead, where responsibilities included managing a talented team of developers. Prior to Wise Ltd., Sergei worked at Playtech from May 2011 to January 2016, taking on various roles including Java Software Developer and Client Team Leader, focusing on development, planning, and integration of internal applications. Earlier experience includes leadership in online games development at Wintech OÜ from June 2008 to April 2011. Sergei holds a bachelor's degree in Computers and Systems Engineering from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, obtained between 2000 and 2002.
