Shane Fitzgerald serves as the Global Head of Internal Audit at Wise since April 2024, overseeing Internal Audit for Wise UK and leading global efforts in Fraud and Financial Crime. Prior to this role, Shane was the Head of Internal Audit for Financial Crime at Revolut from December 2019 to April 2024, and held various positions at PwC from September 2008 to November 2019, including Financial Crime Senior Manager and FS Senior Manager focusing on Risk and Regulation. Earlier experience includes roles in forensic investigations and consulting, as well as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst position at Citizens Bank. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Commerce (MIS) and a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems from University College Cork.
