Smrithi Ravi is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Wise since August 2018, where responsibilities include leading the Regional Expansion APAC engineering teams. Prior to Wise, Smrithi held multiple positions at Groupon, from Software Engineer focusing on relevance and email infrastructure, to Senior Engineering Manager for South Asia and South East Asia. Smrithi started a career at Bloomberg as a Financial Software Developer and interned in the Bloomberg NEWS backend teams. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering Guindy in Chennai.
