Verónica Urzúa

Verónica Urzúa is a seasoned professional in UX research and social psychology, currently serving as Research Group Lead and Research Lead at Wise since August 2022. With a significant academic background as a Social Psychology Lecturer at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya since January 2009, Verónica has also held prominent roles at Nubank from September 2019 to August 2022, including Senior UX Research Manager, where leadership of a team of over ten researchers across Mexico and Colombia was a key responsibility. Verónica’s journey began at Puntolab as UX Research Director, and prior to that, roles included UX Researcher Lead and academic positions at prestigious institutions such as Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and ITESO, where Verónica taught Social Psychology and Qualitative Research Methods. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and a Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology from Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro.
