Vinay Nilakantan

Vinay Nilakantan serves as the Head of Product for North America at Wise, leading growth and expansion efforts in the region since July 2025. Prior experience includes serving as the Vice President of Product Management at Adyen, where responsibilities encompassed global monetization of embedded payments for SaaS platforms and marketplaces, and overseeing international product teams across various financial solutions. Vinay held the position of Vice President at AffiniPay, guiding the product vision for a rapidly growing payment technology company serving over 60,000 SMBs, and was instrumental in product lifecycle management. Earlier roles include Principal Product Manager at FATHOM, directing product management at 360training, and managing the global business line for Ellucian's flagship CRM product. Vinay's career began at Meridian Knowledge Solutions, where executive leadership was assumed to reshape product strategy. Educational credentials include an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BA in Economics from Madras Christian College.
