Wouter Dhont

Wouter Dhont is a seasoned compliance and governance consultant who has contributed to a more compliant financial sector for about 15 years. Starting as an internal auditor at Dexia Bank Belgium, they advanced to roles including Legal Representative and Head of Compliance at the Royal Bank of Canada I&TS Brussels Branch. In 2017, Wouter founded their independent consulting firm, Lighthouse, which brings together experienced compliance professionals to tackle diverse compliance challenges. Currently, Wouter also serves as an Executive Director at Value Square Fund and an Independent Non-Executive Director at Wise. They hold multiple master's degrees from Ghent University and the University of Antwerp.
