Seth Hollar, PhD

Seth Hollar, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Seth co-founded WISER Systems, Inc. in 2011, where they served as the CTO. WISER Systems focuses on wireless-RFID track & trace technologies for supply chain operations. Prior to that, Seth worked at NC State University, initially as the Associate Director of the Engineering Entrepreneurs Program (EEP). At EEP, they provided students with an immersive, multi-disciplinary, simulation-like learning environment to foster entrepreneurship. Seth also worked on a project at NC State University, proposing a new personal rapid transit architecture with a private funding model.

In addition, Seth served as the President of SeventhDigit Corporation from 2005 to 2012. Before that, they worked as a Research Fellow at Toshiba Corporation from 2004 to 2006. Seth started their career at Lockheed Martin as an Engineer in 1996.

Seth Hollar, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1996. Subsequently, they pursued their doctoral studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Ph.D. degree from 1998 to 2003. Seth'seducational background also includes another Ph.D. degree in Engineering from the same institution during the same period.
