Corey O'Brien

Corey O'Brien has an extensive work experience spanning over 18 years. Corey is currently working as the Director of Engineering Infrastructure at Wisetack, a position they started in April 2022. Prior to this, Corey worked as the DevOps Manager at CB Insights from May 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining CB Insights, Corey held multiple roles at Fairwinds, starting as the SRE Lead in August 2017 and eventually becoming the Director of Engineering in November 2020. Corey also served as the Engineering Manager from March 2020 to November 2020.

Corey's career started at Hewlett-Packard in May 2006 as a Software Designer, where they worked for eight years. Corey then joined Rackspace as a Software Development Engineer In Test in July 2014 and remained there until August 2017.

In addition, Corey also has prior experience working as a Developer in Quality Assurance at Exstream Software from 2006 to 2008 and as a Firmware Tester at Analysts International Corporation (AIC) from 2004 to 2006.

Corey O'Brien attended the University of Kentucky from 2000 to 2004 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. Additionally, Corey O'Brien holds certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) obtained in April 2018, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator from Cloud Native Computing Foundation obtained in September 2017.
