Craig Scheffler

Principal Systems Engineer, Ground Communication Systems at Wisk

Craig Scheffler has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Craig started their career at Meadowlark Optics in 1988 as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they managed the development and construction of a new facility. In 1999, they joined DigitalGlobe as a Program Manager, responsible for the development and implementation of satellite Direct Access Facilities for international customers. At Skybox Imaging, from 2011 to 2014, they served as the Director of Satellite Access Systems, leading the development and deployment of ground stations and customer terminals for satellite communications. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Google as a Technical Program Manager, before joining Planet in 2017 to specialize in Spectrum Management. Currently, since 2019, they are employed at Wisk as a Principal Systems Engineer, focusing on Ground Communication Systems. Throughout their career, Craig has displayed expertise in engineering, program management, and technical leadership.

Craig Scheffler has a Master's degree in Control Systems from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Craig also attended Overland High School.
