Mark W. is a seasoned aerospace and systems engineer with extensive experience in UAS communication systems and robotics. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Systems Engineer at Wisk, Mark focuses on enhancing communication links between Wisk aircraft and ground operations. Prior experience includes roles at Verizon, where Mark contributed to groundbreaking cellular connectivity initiatives for drones, and at StretchSense Limited as a Senior Applications Engineer, working with diverse clients in wearables and aerospace. Mark co-founded Smith & Williamson, LLC, developing innovative balloon systems for research, and worked with NASA and other organizations at NSC and United Space Alliance, gaining expertise in high-altitude balloon services and Space Shuttle missions.
