Kent Winrich

Kent Winrich is the Chief Technology Officer at Open Broadband, where they design, deploy, and operate managed broadband networks. They have a strong background in technology strategy, business development, and team leadership, with recognized expertise in municipal broadband and international fiber networks. Kent previously served as Director of Broadband and Infrastructure for the City of Salisbury, NC, where they advanced the city’s network to become the fastest in the world. They also hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Wake Forest Business School and have experience in various roles across leading technology companies. Additionally, Kent is a board member and co-chairman of the North Carolina chapter of the Wireless Internet Service Provider's Association (WISPA).
