Michael Orr

Michael Orr has extensive work experience in software engineering and web development. Michael is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Wistia since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Intuit Mailchimp where they held various roles including Principal Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, Staff Engineer, and Senior Engineer from 2016 to 2022. Before joining Intuit Mailchimp, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Pindrop Security from 2014 to 2016. Michael also worked as a Python Developer at Cox Media Group Digital & Strategy Team in 2013 and as a Server Technology Architect at Fox Corporation from 2012 to 2013. Prior to transitioning into the tech industry, they served as a Combat Systems Officer in the United States Air Force from 2011 to 2012. Michael also worked as a Sr PHP Developer at Fox Corporation from 2010 to 2011. Before that, they worked as a Web Architect at LoftOne19, LLC from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they worked as a Web Developer at COXnet in 2009 and as a Jr Web Developer at Chick-fil-A from 2006 to 2008.

From 2004 to 2008, Michael Orr attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
