Marisa Martins

Marisa Martins is an accomplished Engineering Manager with extensive experience at WIT since February 2008, where roles have included Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Team Leader, and Senior Software Engineer, primarily focusing on the Microsoft Mediaroom Platform (IPTV). Marisa's expertise spans the complete software development life-cycle, encompassing customer requirement analysis, activity planning and estimation, architecture design, implementation, test environment configuration, and participation in client acceptance testing. Previous work as a Software Engineer included developing iPhone, WAP, and web applications for a Portuguese mobile operator and integrating IPTV systems with customer services. An internship at Instituto Politécnico de Leiria involved developing an application for the Blackboard Platform. Marisa holds a Licentiate degree in Computer Science and a Post-Graduation Course in Agile Methodologies for Software Developments, both from Instituto Politécnico de Leiria.
