Nelson Alves

Nelson Alves has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as a Technical Lead Engineer at WIT Software since October 2016, with prior roles as Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. Previous experience includes working as a Data Warehouse Engineer at HIS from January 2013 to September 2016, focusing on maintaining and developing features for a healthcare enterprise data warehouse. Nelson also contributed to a new product version as a Software Engineer at HIS, where integration and workflow modeling were key responsibilities. Earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Meticube, specializing in software design and development primarily in C# and Java. Nelson initiated a career in technology with an internship at Critical Software in 2004, where tasks included creating a replication environment for Oracle databases. Educational qualifications include a Licentiate degree and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra, completed between 2001 and 2006.
