Doug Watson

Doug Watson has a vast work experience in the field of video production and photojournalism. Doug started their career as a Photojournalist at WVLT Volunteer TV in 1996 and worked there until 2001. Doug then joined KUTV as a Photojournalist from 2001 to 2004. In 2006, they became the Chief Photographer at News 12 Networks, leaving in 2008 to become the Director of Photojournalism at WHTM abc27 until 2012. After that, they started their own production company called Doug Watson Productions in 2012. Since 2013, they have been working as the Head Videographer/Editor at WITF, Inc.

Doug Watson attended The University of Tennessee at Knoxville from 1992 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Broadcast Journalism. In addition, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Communication and Media Studies at the same university, although specific years of enrollment and completion are unknown. Doug focused their studies on Communication and Media Studies throughout their time at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
