Fred Vigeant

Fred Vigeant has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Fred started their career at WPLJ - ABC Radio Networks as a Promotions Intern in 2001. Fred then moved on to SUNY Oswego- Poucher Radio Lab, where they worked as a Radio Lab Supervisor from 2002 to 2009. In 2000, they joined WRVO Public Media as an Audio Engineer/Producer, and later became the Operations Director from 2003 to 2006. From 2006 to 2012, Fred served as the Program Director at WRVO Public Media. In 2008, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Oswego. Fred's involvement in media continued at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) in 2015, where they worked briefly as a Radio Production Assistant. Since 2012, Fred has been associated with WITF, Inc., initially as the Director of Programming, and currently as the Vice President and Chief Audience Officer, contributing to the strategic planning, original content development, and coordination of media platforms.

Fred Vigeant obtained their Master of Science degree in Information Design and Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Broadcasting from State University of New York at Oswego between 1997 and 2002. Fred'seducation journey began at Bunnell High School, where they completed their high school education from 1994 to 1997. Alongside their formal education, Fred Vigeant also obtained a certification in "Office 2016 and Office 365 New Features" from LinkedIn in August 2017.
