Jonathan Ess

Jonathan Ess is an experienced software development professional with a strong background in team leadership and agile methodologies. Currently serving as Backend Team Lead at With Intelligence since November 2024, Jonathan previously held the position of Lead Software Developer at the National Education Group, where expertise in managing a ten-member team and implementing the Scrum framework significantly improved development efficiency. Prior to that, Jonathan spent nearly a decade at Worldline UK&I, first as a Lead Software Developer and later as a Scrum Master, where leadership extended over a development team of twenty engineers responsible for passenger information systems across the UK railway network. Jonathan's career began in educational roles, including positions as a Science Teacher, and is supported by a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Warwick and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire.
