Matt Smith

Matt Smith is an accomplished media professional currently serving as Head of Hedge Fund Content at With Intelligence since 2024, after previously holding the role of Global Editor for HFM from 2019 to 2024. With extensive experience in financial journalism, they were the Head of News at HFMWeek from 2015 to 2018, and they contributed as Head of Content for CTA Intelligence from 2013 to 2019. Prior to that, Matt worked as a Political Correspondent and Business Editor for the Southern Daily Echo from 2005 to 2012, and they started their career as an Assistant News Editor at the Banbury Guardian. Matt holds an LLB in Law from the University of Leeds, awarded in 1999.
