Jonathan Eng

Jonathan Eng is currently the Head of Business Operations at Cherry. Jonathan has over 10 years of experience in strategy, operations, and business development.

Eng started their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Moelis & Company. Jonathan then moved to the National Basketball Association, where they worked as a Senior Manager of Global Strategy. In this role, they were responsible for launching and operationalizing new business lines, product offerings and strategic partnerships.

In 2017, Eng co-founded ROTATION, a company that provides technology-enabled solutions to help businesses optimize their workforces. As CEO, they grew the company to 15 markets across the United States and led a successful $60M Series B fundraise from BOND Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and others.

In 2019, Eng joined Hello Alfred as Head of Business Operations. In this role, they drove sustainable revenue growth across 15 U.S. markets through KPI management & data-driven decision making. Jonathan also acted as Business Lead on DTC customer acquisition during the COVID-19 period.

Eng has a proven track record of success in leading and growing businesses. Their experience in both the public and private sectors have given him the skills needed to build and scale successful organizations.

Jonathan Eng graduated from Stuyvesant High School and then attended Northwestern University, where they earned a B.A. in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Economics. Jonathan then went on to earn an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
