Karwan Farhad

Karwan Farhad possesses extensive experience in humanitarian and construction sectors, currently serving at the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining since November 2017. Farhad has held positions such as Field Officer at REACH since June 2015 and focused on risk education with NRC since June 2014. Noteworthy roles include Mine Action Community Liaison Officer in Mousl and Erbil, Iraq (October 2018 - December 2021), and involvement in non-technical surveys with NPA Norwegian Peoples Aid (January 2017 - December 2017). Prior experience includes serving as Site Project Manager at Kelkan for General Contracting and Oilfield Services Limited from December 2009 to August 2016. Farhad holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Erbil School.
