Akio Shimada

Akio Shimada is currently the Sales Engineer Director for Cyber Security Products and Services at WithSecure, having previously served as the Product Group Director of Sales Engineering at F-Secure Corporation. With over 30 years of experience in IT development, including 10 years as an architect specializing in Java and security, Akio has a strong track record in project management, successfully initiating and executing numerous projects. Akio's career includes significant roles at Sun Microsystems, FireEye, and other tech firms, as well as influential positions in consulting and strategic planning within the IoT security space. Akio holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Mathematics from Kobe University and has served as a visiting scholar in Information Security at Chuo University.
