Alexey Kirichenko

Alexey Kirichenko has extensive work experience in the field of software development and cryptography. Alexey started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at WithSecure in 1997 and later became a Senior Researcher and team lead. In this role, they were responsible for the design, development, and FIPS-140 validation of the company's cryptographic libraries and the design and development of the Authorization Management Infrastructure. Alexey also conducted security analysis of the company's cryptographic products. In 2008, Alexey became the Head of External Collaboration and Research Collaboration Manager at WithSecure. Prior to joining WithSecure, they worked at Altsys Corporation / Macromedia, Inc. as a Software Developer and Senior Developer. In this role, they developed import filters for converting files of DXF and PDF formats into Macromedia FreeHand files.

From 1983 to 1988, Alexey Kirichenko attended Saint Petersburg State University, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Mathematics.
