Marko Thure

Marko Thure is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in cybersecurity and software development. Currently, Marko serves as a Senior Software Engineer at WithSecure, focusing on the development of XDR, EDR/CDR protection layers and a backend XDR engine since July 2022. Prior to this role, Marko worked at F-Secure Corporation for nearly a decade, contributing to the development of in-house scanning engines, including Hydra and DeepGuard, as well as the Android Ultralight SDK. Marko's career began at F-Secure Corporation with roles as an Anti-Malware Analyst and Junior Anti-Malware Analyst, where research and automation were key responsibilities, and earlier as a Database Update Publisher. Marko also gained experience in maintaining telecommunication devices at Savonia University of Applied Sciences, where a B.Sc. in Computer Networks was earned.
