Timo Salminen

Timo Salminen is an experienced software developer with a strong background in backend development and cloud services. Currently serving as an Expert Developer at WithSecure since March 2022, Timo previously held the same title at F-Secure Corporation, where duties included enhanced responsibilities reflecting a higher experience level. Earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer positions, where responsibilities encompassed the design and development of scalable, secure backend services, and co-founding CodeCraft Oy, a consultancy specializing in backend applications. Timo's career began as a Senior Software Engineer at Capricode Ltd. and involved significant research in pervasive computing and networking during time spent at the University of Oulu and the University of Maryland. Timo holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Oulu.
