Amel Edmond

Amel Edmond is currently the Chief Information Officer at Withum. Prior to this, they served as the Director of IT Operations for Authentidate Holding Corp from March 2014 to September 2016. In this role, Amel managed the day-to-day operations of the company's IT network, including networking, user security, telecommunication, and application development. Amel also oversaw a 24/7 NOC with 99.7% uptime and ensured compliance with PCI, HIPAA, SOX, and FDA regulations.

From January 2008 to December 2013, Amel served as the Network Manager for EisnerAmper LLP. In this role, they were responsible for the design, monitoring, and maintenance of the company's secure and stable technology environment. Amel also ensured continuous delivery of IT services and kept mission-critical systems operational.

Amel began their career in 2004 as an IT Administrator for Outten & Golden LLP, where they worked until 2008. During their time there, they refined and maintained the company's disaster recovery plan and ensured that the IT staff had the necessary skills to address current and emergent needs. Amel also developed and implemented technology and application development standards and led IT project management.

Amel's impactful work has Consolidated department spending and vendor contracts to save their previous company $5M while upgrading systems performance and reliability.

Amel Edmond obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. They also hold certifications inLeadership Stories: 5-Minute Lessons in Leading People, Leading with Intelligent Disobedience, Organizational Culture, and Practicing Fairness as a Manager from LinkedIn, as well as a MCSA certification from CompTIA.
