Sam Scully

Sam Scully has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sam founded and served as the Principal of Scully Staffing, where they focused on providing staffing solutions for IT, Drone, and business professionals. In addition, they have held leadership positions in organizations such as WITI (Women in Technology International) and Black Women in Technology TM (BWiT), where they advocated for women in technology and managed financial affairs respectively. Sam has also been an Ambassador for Women And Drones. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, they worked as the CEO and Owner of Indigo Staffing Inc, focusing on e-learning design and technology support. Sam has also held positions as the CEO & Owner of Techknow Computer Training, where they managed client computer training and classes, and as an Adjunct Professor at Georgia Perimeter College, delivering training on various software applications. Earlier in their career, Sam served as a Technical Writer in the US Navy.

Sam Scully has a diverse educational background. In 1992 to 1995, Sam attended Georgia State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business, IT, Marketing & Computer Science. During the same period from 1992 to 1994, Sam also studied at City University of Seattle and obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services.

More recently, in 2021, Sam pursued the Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot License at Aquiline Drones - Flight to the Future, specializing in Unmanned Aircraft General (UAG).

In addition to their formal education, Sam has obtained several certifications. They have a Tech Recruiter Certification from Recruiting Innovation, which they earned in August 2020. Sam also holds a Certified Instructional Designer certification from Langevin Learning Services, earned in November 2007. They have further certifications from Scrum Alliance, including Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) obtained in December 2016 and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) earned in January 2017. Sam is also a Certified SBE/DVBE by the State of California since October 2019 and a Certified SDVOSB by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since September 2017. They have recently obtained a certification in U.S. Drone Soccer from the U.S. Drone Soccer institution in July 2022.
