Derek Huang

Derek Huang is a Firmware Engineer at WiTricity since August 2023, with previous experience as a Firmware Engineering Co-op and Electrical Engineering Co-op at Werfen, where responsibilities included designing PCB layouts, analyzing firmware errors, and automating data collection. At Harvard University, Derek served as a Technical Support Engineer Intern, managing support tickets and completing a data migration project. Additional experience includes mentoring as a Peer Tutor in Engineering Calculus and Network Theory at Wentworth Institute of Technology, as well as participating in the RAMP program to assist incoming freshmen. Derek began professional development through a student internship at Square Tech, focusing on collaborative and communication skills. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in 2024.
