Roger Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate governance and legal practice. Currently serving as Corporate Secretary at River Cree Resort & Casino since January 2014, Roger has also been a Partner at Witten LLP since November 1997. Other notable positions include Secretary of the Board of Directors for Canada International Sevens from February 2015 to March 2024, Chairman of the Board at Casino Dene from June 2006 to September 2019, and Board Secretary for Churchill Cup Ltd. from April 2003 to July 2011. Roger holds a Law Degree from the University of Saskatchewan and recently completed the Directors Education Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors, earning the ICD.D designation. Additionally, a BBA in Marketing and Labour Relations was obtained from St. Francis Xavier University.
