Sawarendro is the Managing Director of PT Witteveen Bos Indonesia, a position held since 2022. They graduated from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands with a Master's degree in Civil Engineering in 1992. With 30 years of experience, Sawarendro specializes in geotechnical engineering, flood control, land reclamation, and polder systems, and has contributed to numerous projects in Indonesia and the Netherlands. Their notable projects include the Kapuknaga land development in Jakarta, dike design evaluations, and various disaster risk reduction initiatives. Prior to their current role, Sawarendro worked as a Geotechnical Engineer with Dames & Moore/PT ENG from 1992 to 1995.
