Witty Ditty Kids Workshops started with a simple thought: children are naturally creative – they just need the right space, materials and encouragement to let their ideas grow.

As a graphic designer and art educator with over 25 years’ experience, I’ve spent my career answering design briefs and helping adults understand visual communication. But I kept meeting parents and community organisations who wanted the same kind of thoughtful, playful, confidence-building experiences for their children.

So, I created Witty Ditty Kids Workshops: hands-on art sessions that spark imagination, build problem-solving skills and give children the joy of making something that feels truly their own.

From community centres to libraries, art spaces and open-air events, I bring creative projects that are carefully designed, achievable for mixed ages, and always full of colour, energy and discovery.

Whether we’re designing fun paper-based characters, inventing light-up robots, or using 3D printing pens, children get a workshop where their ideas are taken seriously – and celebrated.

Every workshop is built with a designer’s eye and an educator’s heart.

I plan each session, so children learn real creative skills while still feeling free to experiment. No pressure, no must be perfect outcomes — just thoughtful guidance, eco-friendly materials and plenty of “look what I made!” moments.

If you’re a school, children’s centre, library or community organisation looking for creative workshops that are engaging, fun and well organised, I’d love to connect.
