Dmitry Karlinsky

Dmitry Karlinsky is a Senior Software Engineer at Wix.com since March 2016, specializing in backend development for large scale distributed systems, with expertise in designing and developing microservices in Scala, utilizing test-driven development (TDD) and continuous delivery practices. Prior to Wix.com, Dmitry served as Chief System Architect at Borderfree from September 2006 to January 2016, where responsibilities included collaborating with development teams to create scalable architecture and evaluating new technologies for project implementation. Dmitry also played a significant role as System Architect at Borderfree, contributing to the development of a global eCommerce solution. Before that, Dmitry worked as a Software Engineer at E4X from July 2000 to September 2006, re-architecting the Global Settlement System into a Java EE application and focusing on backend financial transaction processing. Dmitry holds an MBA in Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a B.A. in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo.
