Tal David is an experienced R&D manager and software engineer with a strong background in backend development and system architecture. Currently, as the Premium Platform Group R&D Manager at Wix since December 2018, Tal has advanced from Engineering Team Lead and Back End Developer roles. Previous experience includes serving as a Software Developer at Innovid, where expertise in micro-services development using Scala and Akka was demonstrated, alongside backend services design in Java and PHP. Additionally, Tal contributed to the service discovery team at Cisco Systems, focusing on large-scale server-side software development. Tal holds an M.B.A. specializing in Strategy and Entrepreneurship and a degree in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
