Scott Piper

Scott Piper is a seasoned professional in cloud security, currently serving as the Principal Cloud Security Researcher at Wiz since November 2022, while also maintaining responsibilities at cloudvulndb and holding board membership and presidency at fwd:cloudsec, an organization co-founded to foster a community-driven conference for cloud security. Scott has previously held roles such as Principal Cloud Security Engineer at Block, AWS Security Consultant at Summit Route, and Director of Security at CyberGRX, along with establishing Summit Route as a consulting business that served clients globally. With a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tulsa, Scott brings extensive expertise to the field, supported by a history of developing open-source tools and security products.
