Dennis Jacobs

Dennis Jacobs has a wealth of experience in the software engineering field, having worked in various roles since 2004. From 2004-2007, they worked at Esurg as a Senior Developer, where they drove ongoing improvements to systems and tools, created new tools within framework, and modified existing/legacy systems. From 2007-2010, they were the eSurg Technology Manager at Henry Schein, responsible for end-to-end development, managing the technology department, and supporting all areas of IT services. From 2010-2012, they worked at Ubermind, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, developing an application to replace a legacy system as part of an external team. From 2012-2015, they were an Engineering Lead and Software Engineer at Haiku Deck, managing engineers, performing project planning and task prioritization, and conducting code reviews. From 2015-2019, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Gemma Labs (Gemmist Beauty), leading the engineering department and responsible for development and support of the primary Shopify e-commerce site, API, custom webapp, blog, and various 3rd party integrations. Currently, they are a Lead Software Engineer at Wizard.
