Kellen Young

Kellen Young has a significant amount of experience in the television industry, starting in 2007 as a TV Producer at WBKO. Kellen then worked at WLEX-TV as an Associate Producer, where they wrote content for the morning show and handled breaking news coverage. After that, they joined WKYT-TV as a TV Producer, producing various shows including the morning show and the noon newscast. In 2012, they joined Hearst Television as a Senior Producer, taking on roles such as Senior EyeOpener Producer and Executive Producer for WCVB NewsCenter 5. Most recently, in 2023, they joined WLWT as the Assistant News Director. Overall, Kellen has gained extensive experience in producing news shows, leading teams, and managing breaking news coverage.

Kellen Young attended Western Kentucky University from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Broadcast News. Their field of study during this time was also Broadcast News. Additionally, Kellen obtained the StepUp New Manager Development Program certification from Hearst in December 2022. In September 2021, they completed the Hearst Leadership Development program at Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning.
