Marcelle P.

Marcelle P. is an accomplished journalist and producer with extensive experience in media production and news reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Producer at WLWT since May 2020, Marcelle oversees the production of the 11 p.m. news. Prior roles include Executive Producer, Special Projects Producer, and Newscast Producer at KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW, where Marcelle was responsible for writing scripts and organizing show content. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Marcelle contributed to academic instruction while also working as an Assistant City Editor and Reporter for the Columbia Missourian, focusing on local government and community reporting. Marcelle's earlier experience encompasses roles as a Contributing Writer, Editorial Assistant for the Alabama Alumni Magazine, and various positions in photography and web content writing. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from The University of Alabama.
