Ty Meshell

Ty Meshell has a diverse work experience in various industries. They started their career as an Executive Assistant at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, where they managed the front desk, telephone, and social media accounts. They then worked as an Administrative Assistant at Louisiana State University, where they assisted senior-level university officials in promoting diversity and inclusion. During this time, they developed digital content for social media and the official office website.

After that, Ty served as the Director of Outreach at the American Mock Trial Association. They were responsible for managing social media accounts, creating promotional graphics, and organizing events to engage prospective students. They also held the position of Fundraising and Membership Chair at the American Advertising Federation, where they managed club members, verified qualifications, and sourced speakers for club meetings.

Ty gained valuable industry experience through internships and externships. They participated in a month-long exclusive training program at United Talent Agency, which provided them with connections to industry executives. They also worked as a Summer Intern at Copacino Fujikado, where they gained experience in account management, creative design, and production in an advertising agency.

In addition, Ty worked as a Production Assistant at Stuart Poulton Productions, assisting with videography projects and expanding their knowledge of film equipment and software. They also served as a Brand Manager at University Tees, acting as an account manager for multiple clients and managing orders and budgets.

Ty's work experience also includes roles in the entertainment industry. They worked as a Social Media Coordinator at Triple7Studios, where they managed social media accounts, sourced digital creators, and reported on engagement and growth. They also worked at WME (William Morris Endeavor), holding positions as a Recruiting Assistant, Assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources, and Human Resources Assistant. Finally, Ty has shown a commitment to promoting multiculturalism in media through their work at Louisiana State University and their involvement in various organizations.

Ty Meshell attended Louisiana State University from 2017 to 2021. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Mass Communication with a focus on Digital Advertising and also completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film Production.
