Tom Phelps

Tom Phelps has a solid work experience in the field of waste management, radiation protection, and project management. Tom started their career at Entergy in 1983 and held various roles including Rad Protection-Chemistry Technician, Rad Protection Supervisor, Decon Supervisor, Sr HP/Chem Specialist, and Part-Time Supervisor. In 2014, they joined WMG Inc. as a Waste Management Consulting Specialist and Project Manager. At WMG Inc., Tom was responsible for providing radioactive waste and material shipping services, supervising activities related to radiation protection, decontamination, and radwaste personnel. Tom also worked on special projects assigned by the Site Vice President and General Manager of Plant Operations. Tom'slatest assignment involved project management and radiation protection supervision at the James A. FitzPatrick NPP. Tom's responsibilities included shipping radioactive material and waste, clearing rooms for renovations, and meeting company milestones by removing legacy waste from the site.

Tom Phelps attended SUNY Cobleskill from 1974 to 1976, earning an AAS degree in Recreational Land Management.
