Jim Shuler serves as Medical Director at Thrivur Health, Mile High Recovery Center, and Foundry Treatment Center Steamboat, in addition to being the Owner of Substance Use Disorder Consultants, LLC. With extensive experience in addiction medicine, Shuler has also held positions as an Attending Physician/Consultant at various addiction recovery facilities and as an Attending and Consulting Physician at Denver Recovery Group West. Shuler is a member and fellow of several prestigious organizations including the Wilderness Medical Society, the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Educational credentials include a DO and MS in Medicine from Des Moines University, along with a master's degree in healthcare administration.
