Jason Brown

Jason Brown is currently the Controller at WNC. Prior to that, they were the Assistant Regional Controller at Lennar from January 2019 to December 2020. From January 2017 to December 2019, they were the Corporate Assistant Controller at Landsea Homes. Jason started their career at EY in January 2010 and served in Assurance Services until December 2017. Jason has a broad range of experience in audit and accounting-based services to private companies, with a focus in real estate.

Jason Brown has a Master of Business Administration from University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Fullerton College. Jason Brown is also certified by the California Board of Accountancy as a CPA.

Jason Brown reports to Wilfred N. Cooper Jr., President & CEO. They work with Jessica Captanis - VP, Originations, West, Emmet Hargrave - VP, Fund Management, and Randy Kim - VP, Information Technology.
