Michael Byrd

Michael Byrd is the Vice President of the Midwest Region at WNC. Michael has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Byrd began their career as a Project Manager at Artspace Projects, Inc and Quantum Management. Michael then transitioned to Lennar where they worked as a Senior Project Manager for three years. In 2007, they joined WNC & Associates as an Underwriter. Michael was promoted to Director of Originations in 2011 and served in that role for three years before being promoted to Vice President of Acquisitions at Hunt Capital Partners in 2014.

Byrd returned to WNC in 2015 as the Vice President of the Midwest Region. In this role, they are responsible for the company's acquisition activities in the Midwest.

Michael Byrd reports to Wilfred N. Cooper Jr., President & CEO. Michael Byrd works with Christine Cormier - EVP, Fund Management and Investor Relations, Grace Duong - Director, Human Resources, and Kent Mehring - SVP, Asset Management.
